Acceptance of Terms

By pre-ordering, purchasing, or using R9Bot (“R9”) or its companion app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the product or service.

Eligibility & Age Requirements

R9 is designed for users ages 12 and up. Purchases must be made by an adult, and the companion app (including content filters, time limits, and account controls) is intended to be set up and managed by a parent or guardian.

Product Description

R9 is a 60 cm walking AI companion robot with 26 servo joints, a full-colour face display, and tool-free transformation between forms. Features, appearance, and specifications may be refined between order and delivery as we continue development.

Orders, Pricing & Pre-orders

Placing a pre-order reserves a unit at the price shown at checkout. Pre-order dates are estimates, not guarantees, and we'll keep you updated by email if timing changes. You can cancel an unshipped pre-order at any time for a full refund.

Shipping & Delivery

Shipping timelines and costs are shown at checkout and may vary by region. Risk of loss passes to you once a unit is delivered to the shipping carrier.

Warranty

R9 is covered by a limited hardware warranty against manufacturing defects for one year from delivery. The warranty doesn't cover damage from misuse, unauthorized modification, or normal wear on moving parts.

Safety & Certification

R9 is certified to ASTM F963, EN 71, and IEC 62115. Every joint is force-limited and back-drivable so a curious hand can always win against the motors, but R9 should still be used under adult awareness as described in the included safety guide.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, resell R9's software, or use it in a way that could harm yourself, others, or the product. Modifying R9's hardware or software outside of supported updates may void your warranty.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of R9. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it can't legally be limited.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll notify you of material changes before they take effect.
